Catastrophic Coverage: We want to know that all of our bills will be paid once we have met our deductible. This includes out patient therapy, which is often neglected or severely limited by many policies.

Freedom of Choice: We do not want to be told we must see specific providers. When a physician prescribes a plan of treatment that is unacceptable to us, we are entitled to a second opinion. We want the best possible care available.

Value: The least expensive product is not always the best value. Therefore, we must find insurance that provides the services we want at an affordable cost. We may be reminded of an old adage, which tells us: “The bitterness of poor quality lingers far beyond the time when the sweetness of low price is forgotten”.

Track Record of the Company: The financial stability and past performance of the insurance company are the best indicators of what lies ahead in the future. Many new companies see the growth potential in Arizona. They try to get started in our market by under pricing their policies, only to present their clients with huge premium increases, or worse, leave them without insurance all together.

Guarantee of Benefits: We need to know that the policy that we originally sign up for will have the same benefits in the future. There are companies that notify their policyholders each year that their benefits have changed. We can be sure that these changes are not to our advantage.

Trusted Advisor: Health care is rapidly changing, and insurance must change to keep pace with it. Are you the type of person who enjoys spending hours each week keeping track of such changes? Most of us would prefer to have a knowledgeable advisor who we can trust to keep us abreast of important issues which effect the security of our families.
